The planet earth is the best gift that God could have given to humans. Goa is the smallest Indian state and fourth smallest in terms of population. It is located on the west coast of India in the region that is known as the Konkan. The capital of the state is Panaji and Vasco da Gama is the largest city. The known history of Goa stretches back to the third century BCE, when it was a part of the Mauryan Empire ruled by Emperor Ashoka. It was in 1510 when the Portuguese defeated the ruling Bijapur kings and established a permanent settlement in Velha Goa (Old Goa).

It also has a rich flora and fauna because of its location in the western ghats range that is classified as a biodiversity hotspot.
